What is the relationship between latitude the sun and climate?

it's a biology question i need help with? what is the relationship between latitude the sun and climate?

Latitude determines how much sunlight a location receives. If it's on the equator it will receive the most sunlight and be warm all year. The further from the equator it is, the colder it's climate.

The true answer is so very complicated you would not believe it but basically near the equator the sun is overhead and hot and near the poles it is near the horizon and cold. Near the Equator the days are even with nights and the sun sets quickly, At the poles there is a big difference between day and night length. In between they vary with the secant of the latitude and the season, but as I said, it is trickey.

Maxx and Barry are correct.

Closer to the equator means more direct sunlight and less seasonal variance in how much light you get each day and generally less variance in temperature for the seasons.

The closer you get to the poles the greater your seasonal variance in the amount of sunlight.

More of the sun you get hits at an oblique angle versus direct.

Greater seasonal differences in temperature

Many other factors are involved but these are some of the reasonable generalities.
