They write peer reviewed papers which are less effective than a witchdoctor's chant. They rely on propagandists to advance their vile positions. Note the author is Stephen Schneider whose work in the early 70's triggered the idea of global cooling, not much of a consensus when even the originator has given up on the idea, oh and sorry I didn't have a newspaper clipping only a link to one of the major science journals.

Have you heard of unleaded fuel and reduced sulphur diesel or particulate collection from coal power, or where you asleep through the late 70's and into the 80's, on almost a global scale we switched to unleaded and cleaner fuel and tightened the emissions of both diesel fuel and coal fired power stations (and continue to do so), markedly reducing smog, you could try and deny this but there is ample film and photos of what the sky over places like LA was like in the 70's compared to today.

It is a strange relationship and I must say it baffles me, I liken it to battered wife syndrome. Warmons deserve our sympathy, their abusers have practice utilizing the media to instill fear while raising their hands claiming they were taken out of context, they were misquoted, they didn't commit what they said to paper, claiming it's not against the law to be unethical, someone else said that, some unforeseen natural occurrence interfered with what we said would happen from happening, just because it isn't happening now doesn't mean it won't happen, their excuses are endless
The climate is what it is and we have little influence over it.
The ice age scare is real because it will happen, maybe not this century or the next, but as long as Antarctica sits over the south pole, it can happen.
