Should Forbes dump James Taylor?

We should respond to his nonsense, but there is something called a free press. It is denialists who want to suppress free speach by jailing honest scientists.

I have noticed some weird biased articles that were pro-AGW coming out of Forbes. They apparently aren't as afraid of the facts as you are. They were willing to give those who disagree with them a chance to give their opinion. The problem is you don't like both sides. You would rather silence those that threaten your belief system.

No James Taylor maybe extreme, but articles to spread doubt are healthy, we need more doubt in science, any theory needs to be tested, not to be just taken as fact.

If global warming/climate change is real, all they have to do is come out with the proof, and that will shut up all the doubters.

In any debate, both sides should have a chance to be heard and listened to.

What is your side so afraid of?

If your side had the truth you would have nothing to be afraid of.

A lie has to be defended, the truth can stand on its own.

This is just another attempt to silence critics. If you had the truth you would counter with science and facts, rather than trying to shut them down.

You are just showing that you don't have any valid argument in the arena of logic, science and reasoning. Furthermore, it shows that you hate dissent.

If we follow your logic, we should just shut down the entire MSM.

Unless of course you're biased and then we should just shut down the people you don't agree with (you know the only ones that exaggerate and misdirect).

Misinformation? How about all the alarmist misinformation and lies being spread by CNN, MSNBC, Al Gore, ABC, NBC, GE, CBS, NY Times, Huffington Post, Reuters, Associated Press, Bill Nye, socialists, the U.N. etc...

Forbes should simply dump itself to more responsible owners. Let them take appropriate care of Taylor.

No, they have the right to hire any one they want, just like I have the right to not read their garbage.

For going against the AGW religion , no . The Climate models and graphs are doctored

and cooked well done .

Forbes regularly publishes articles by James Taylor which have sensationalized headlines, outrageous misinformation, and deliberate distortions of other's published works.

The public and policymakers have a right to accurate information about climate change. James Taylor once took an article titled, " On the Misdiagnosis Of Surface Temperature Feedbacks From Variations In Earth’s Radiant Energy Balance", and distorted it to an article in Forbes titled:"New NASA Data Blow Gaping Hole In Global Warming Alarmism". Worse yet, it was classified and circulated as a news article, when it clearly was opinion.

Another of James Taylor's recent articles titled: "Peer-Reviewed Survey Finds Majority Of Scientists Skeptical Of Global Warming Crisis", was a complete distortion of the meaning of the study. It was not a "majority of scientists", but the majority of a small group of geologists and engineers associated with the oil industry. The authors of the study responded as a comment in Forbes, saying in part, "This is not a representative survey and should not be used as such!"

James Taylor's articles are meant only to spread doubt, and Forbes should not be complicit in spreading misinformation.
