Temperatures in US turned colder than MARS.. is something big going to happen in the comming years.?

change in climatic patterns...etc

Is that the average global temperature on Mars?

If it is (and I suspect it is since we do not have weather stations on Mars), then shouldn't you compare Mars' average global temperature to Earth's average global temperature?

The media headlines about temperatures being colder than on Mars are trying to emphasis a point, namely that it’s very cold in North America. It’s not a particularly accurate headline as it’s comparing the minimum temperature of one city on earth (Winnipeg) with the maximum observed temperature on one specific location on Mars (Curiosity rover). Whilst North America is exceptionally cold it still has a long way to go before reaching the average temperature on Mars.

In recent years there has been an increase in the number of earthquakes. If we compare the last ten years with the hundred years before that, there has been an approximate doubling in the number of major earthquakes (magnitude 8.0 and above). However, at the moment this falls well within the range of expected variation in that there are always going to be periods of higher or lower than average activity.

Had we seen a long term continued rise in the number of earthquakes, or had it been that most or all of the largest quakes happened recently, these would be indicators that something was happening.

Regarding solar flares and the like. There has just been a very significant coronal mass ejection that is beginning to affect Earth’s magnetosphere. The effects will peak in a few hours and one of the most obvious effects will be a significant enhancement of the auroras borealis. It’s likely that tonight and tomorrow night many people will be able to see the display from more southerly locations than normal.

We’re well into Solar Cycle 24 and nothing out of the ordinary is happening or is expected to happen. I’d be interested if you have a link to a source that’s predicting major solar flares in the future.

The possibility of a disruptive eruption is an ever present one and if we get one such as the Carrington Event of 1859 then the world is in serious trouble as it has the potential to knock out communications and power supplies around the world. Such a thing could happen any time now of not for several centuries.

Weird weather around the world is undeniable, you only need compare recent events with past events to see that thee have been very significant changes. Events that used to have a return period of say every 100 years now have a RP of 20 years, we’re seeing many more droughts than ever before, a massive increase in the number of floods, twice as many heatwaves etc.

Such changes are a consequence of global warming and climate change, they are unrelated to earthquake or other seismic activity. There is a link with solar activity but this affects the weather on a small scale and over short periods of time, nothing like the magnitude of change that’s occurred recently.

Quite what will happen in the years to come remains to be seen.

Yes it may lead to dangerous results as last year the Kedarnath tradegy in India took place. It is nothing but the anger of nature because the humans are destroying our earth. All will have to pay for it! You asked a good question!

Its not that much special about climate now,

Last year the tsunamis made a drastic change in India also.

I heard this comparison yesterday In a podcast. Someone said it how it may feel on mars if it were mars’s warmest day and somewhere on ye equator.

This is very serious matter not only for US , it will effect the entire world.

NOT LIKE YOUR THINKING. Global Warming ended in 2012. If war in America happens here, It'll be the muslims murdering all who are not muslim born, because your president has over 2 million muslims here and he wants our country illegally. Mike

It s not! The earth's temperature is 0.0002 degrees warmer. So there!

In direct answer to your question: The only thing that will happen is the 'saviors of the earth', whom I affectionately call greenies, will jack up their rhetoric and get true scientist's answers kicked off of this site. They will 'snow' everyone with AGW.

Us suffer from this but all over the world will suffer from effect.

May be.

Asking the same question twice is very rude

Yes. Because of man Made Global Warming We are going to freeze to death of Polar Vortex's.

The sky is falling...
