And they have shares of factories and farms, and produce plenty of pollution from those sectors.

As for Hollywood, you should be amongst the first to acknowledge the apparent hypocrisy of the Hollywood elites that speak of being green while living decadent wasteful lifestyles. While one may say that they do more good than harm because they make the cause seem "cool", there is little way to pretend that they are walking the walk.
Indeed, with me being on the "dark side of the force", I recycle, reuse and reduce what I use. My family's 2 cars get 30 mpg and I only buy reliable used cars. My car has 150K miles and I will be driving it until it dies. I take quick showers to reduce water waste, and make sure my house is properly insulated to reduce heating costs. In other words, I live a lifestyle that may not be the model of green living, but exceeds most Americans.
My point is simple. You have taken such a skewed view that you can no longer see outside your box. The hypocrisy of the Hollywood elite does not make recycling, reducing and reusing bad. BUT, it does make your skewed view absurd. Which would you rather have??? Someone that believes but does not do, or someone who does, but does not believe???
Don't forget the private jets. Plus there are the big screen TVs to watch their product. 1000 watt TVs.

I just went to Six Flags. There's a ride there called Storm Runner... It said on a sign in the waiting line that each trip (it's 40 seconds long and goes every 2 minutes [I was in line for awhile >.>]) uses enough energy to power over 100 New York New Years ball drops. Imagine how much energy just that ride uses a day? Then all the other ones.
Hollywood won't ever be shut down. Maybe rules and regulations will get strict, but it'll never get shut down.
Anything quite honestly thats anythings like that, and anything that is a city. As living in an open area, its quite enjoyable not dealing with that kind of stuff. My sister and I got in an argument about God not wanting us to have houses. If he did he would have gave it, but she said thats why he gave us brains. BRAINS TO WRECK THE EARTH? (vehicles, houses, mansions) Which I am also against giant buildings because it wastes space for us and it wastes space for nature and its species. Soon we won't have the animals or plants we have on earth now because of all of human nature wreckage. Less space for them to live, less food they receive. And global warming is going higher and higher faster and faster. Its awful what we have done to the next generation of people to come. Soon the earth could heat up and it would be un livable for us, and animals. All I have to say is this planet and everything on it needs to straighten up, or well, earths done. You know the earth is getting worse to if you look at some scientific videos of what they discovered. They get a long pole, go to a place that gets snow every year, and they can actually see from far years back snow fall of it slowly decreasing. snow is coming less and less, glaciers are melting, and soon, many people on the coastal part of land, can't live there no more because there is no land! Instead of shutting down Hollywood for telling you something you don't want to hear, take the opposite tack. Remove the wax from your ears and listen with an open mind for a change.
Definitely, less pollution, less indoctrination, less humanistic propaganda. Hollywood is a huge enemy of everyone who thinks green. Just like most green political parties btw. This is always the problem with people who are against ecocentric people, they think we are the same as the elite's who are pro-green but actually only interested in money. So destroying Hollywood out of a green position, especially when you put it like you did although I don't think that was your intention, might just show the world that real green people don't stand for the same things as the so-called green in our media do.

The scientific reality if AGW has nothing to do with Hollywood elites “being green” or decadent. Unlike AGW-denial, the scientific evidence is not political.
Hollywood has done a pretty good job of shutting itself down.
Hitler was a politician and he needed the Church and he pandered to it just as modern politician do. When you look at the atheists that he surrounded himself with and some of his speeches, it is hard to consider him a Christian. He was too cautious to easily label him as an atheist. Modern Atheists always seem to try to prop up Hitler as an typical example of Christians and modern leftists (sometimes the same people) try to prop up Hitler as a typical example of a conservative in spite of the fact that he led the National Socialists to power. That is where the term "denier" comes from.

How much energy is wasted when the left lectures us on climate change, Hollywood waste more energy in a single day than most Americans waste in a lifetime, not to mention the huge estates that the Hollywood elites live in, the gas guzzling cars they drive and their jet set lifestyle Hollywood waste a lot of energy, along with polluting the atmosphere when they produce an extravaganza, that is causing havoc in the atmosphere, whether it;s climate control,race baiting or other social ills, Hollywood along with the liberal media wants to lecture us on climate change,while they exempt themselves from the burdens they want to put on middle class Americans.
