Are you going to eat bugs to save the planet like the U.N. wants?

no

Typical myopic projections. They said that too in the National Geographic documentary "Evacuate Earth". Yes insects and worms are a more efficient way of producing protein than cows and pigs but it's entirely un-necessary to take such measures. We've already inkjet printed a beating mouse heart, how much harder would it be to inkjet print a steak. We could have bioreactors growing cow stem cells or even bacteria ( the steak only needs to look, feel, smell and taste like steak ) and inkjet print our meats and meat products.

The larva of the cicada on attaining full size in the ground becomes a nymph; then it tastes best, before the husk is broken. At first the males are better to eat, but after copulation the females, which are then full of white eggs.

-- Aristotle

But you may eat certain insects that have wings and walk on four feet. You may eat those that have legs with joints above their feet so they can jump. These are the insects you may eat: all kinds of locusts, winged locusts, crickets, and grasshoppers.

- Leviticus 11:21, 22

(Maxx again mocks the Bible)

At least 25% of the world's population eat insects daily.

When all else fails, use a straw man argument. Your link is about feeding the hungry, not global warming, which can be fixed using new energy sources, such as solar, wind and nuclear power.

Quote by Maurice Strong, a wealthy elitist and primary power behind UN throne, and large CO2 producer: "Current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class - involving high meat intake, use of fossil fuels, appliances, air-conditioning, and suburban housing - are not sustainable."

Notice it wasn't for dear old Maurice or any of the elite who were to sacrifice, It was only the 'affluent middle class'. Or us peons.

Quote by David Foreman, co-founder of Earth First!: “We must make this an insecure and inhospitable place for capitalists and their projects. We must reclaim the roads and plowed land, halt dam construction, tear down existing dams, free shackled rivers and return to wilderness millions of acres of presently settled land.” Back to Cro-Magnon anybody?

Let them eat bugs! These elitist say and Gringo the evolutionist agrees. (How anyone can look at his picture and still believe in evolution, is beyond me.)

Tell me, Creationist Maxx, what are we going to feed the hungry people in Africa to stop them from starvation?

It is telling how every single time an organization which cares about all of the world's population (not just the first or second world) and which wants to limit starvation as much as possible, every single time such an organization says something, the supposedly Christians here get all angry over the mere suggestion of a diet change, apparently not realizing that there are vast continents with billions of people to feed beyond their limited world-view.

Amen

Edit:

Taking into account that you are already eating such yummie ingredients as castoreum (a gland near a beaver's anus) used as 'natural flavoring' in stuff like vanilla ice-cream, shellac, an insect from Thailand and used to glaze jelly beans, candy corn and other hard-coated candy, propylene glycol aka antifreeze (used in sodas, salads and beer), seaweed (carrageenan) used as thickening agent, ammonia (filler for ground beef), antibiotics (used in livestock to make them grow bigger and faster) and sand (used in soups) to name just a few of some already widely used ingredients, I don't think eating a few bugs will all of a sudden kill us. We've been doing so already for ages along with many other unhealthy ingredients!

Not until Betty Crocker teaches me how. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Betty_Crock...

The only thing butter and garlic won't make palatable is the fecal matter proposed by the IPPC.

No and the UN doesn't want us to be eating bugs.

How dare you mock the word of God Maxx! (As per the post of Baccheus)

get off your high horse

U.N. says EAT MORE BUGS

But as I recall, at the last big climate conference, they were dining in very high style, they were not eating bugs. I wonder why.
