In some cases, it cost more to recycle than to dispose. In my berg, they have instituted some pretty good fees on trash collection, but even more fees and penalties for recycling. I am trying to say that it has become easier and more economical just to send it to the dump than to deal with the recycling rules and in some case extra charges. Also, the few areas where recycling can be dropped off are only open at limited times during business hours, and I work out of town. The centers are never open and not on my days off.

So while recycling may be the best choice for the environment, my berg doesn't seem to want to deal with it, and is making it too expensive and inconvenient for me to do so.

The only thing that's worth while to recycle is aluminum cans. Everything else can be made better and cheaper new.

Because they cannot be bothered. They will regret it in the meantime when the tress die, global warming increases and we run out of items. It will effect them very badly, as well as us recyclers. We must keep recycling and encourage others to do so too.

most things aren't worth recycling, the only things worth it are cans mostly.

Laziness mostly.

Some people enjoy destroying the environment, however.

It is not worth it and usually costs more money.
