How many species of animals that we don't know of yet have gone extinct because of global warming?

We can't know.

A lot of the species that we don't know about are in areas like rain forests, and we're causing a lot of extinctions in rain forests, though mostly from habitat destruction rather than AGW. Global warming may tip some species over the brink, but is as far as I'm aware not likely to be a *primary* cause of most of the extinctions going on right now.

zero because we don't know about them

I would question whether all living things are going extinct.

you have heard? second third hand information much?

How sad is your non nonsensical question? errr statement eer philosophy err belief

wow this board used to have a bit of good science now and again.

for the record I agree the planet is warming there is enough empirical evidence to support that.

I do not think there is enough dialogue on how to mitigate the long term co2 levels

I do not think I will find any good information here unless Trevor is still around to share information

Specifically because of global warming is difficult to quantify but it is likely that some species have done so.

80% of undiscovered species are extinct is probably a low number. We are going back however long, and any species that has gone extinct and undiscovered in the fossil record would go to that side of the ledger.

'How many, that we don't know of'...'No question that global warming is causing all living things to go extinct'

this is possibly the most inaccurate, sad and pathetic question you've ever asked.

tirteen brazillion

it's so sad my eyes are raining

none

No question that global warming is causing all living things to go extinct, but exactly how many species that we don't even know about right now have gone extinct because of global warming? I've heard scientists say that 80% of all species we haven't discovered yet are already extinct. How sad is this?
