I don't know if he is greenie or not. You will have to check on where electricity come from for his tread mill. If it is coal plant, or nuclear reactor, then probably he is (most of them bigots and hypocrites).
In anyway you think of that, it is sucks to go for so long and not to get anywhere, and not to see anything new. I just hope it is good for his health. At least something good comes out of all of that. I personally would rather really walked around the earth, than pushed piece of rubber. :D
The compact flourescent light went out over my stationary bike a couple of weeks ago while I was going nowhere on the bike, but chalking up hundreds of miles and I had to drive all the way into town over six miles to take that used light bulb to a specific collection center to turn in because the mercury in that bulb was sufficient to kill every fish in the neighbor's ten acre pond if it had broken and gotten in there. I'm still trying to figure out where that's a mandated item that is good for the environment, so much more than a regular light bulb.
