Just because New York is cold doesn’t mean that the rest of the world is. Europe for example is unusually warm. All that’s happened is that the heat from the US and Canada has temporarily moved elsewhere. The average global temperature hasn’t suddenly dropped.
New York is but a small dot on the face of the planet, what happens there over a period of a few days or weeks is no way indicative of what’s happening around the world over periods of many decades.
And if it weren’t for the fact that global warming has occurred, then New York would likely be even colder.

Fools like you continue to look out the window and make dumbass assumptions. This record cold is from a jet stream that is doing things I’ve never seen before – when is the last time you saw the jet stream go down to southern New Mexico? That is sucking all the arctic air down here.
Using your logic, I just looked out the window and didn’t see a single Mexican, so I guess there is no illegal immigration issue. I also didn’t see a single welfare mother, so I guess that welfare fraud has been defeated. Oray for Obama – he finally fixed those things. And, I guess Al Quida is toast - I didn't see them either.
