Of course there are lots of theories and guesses, but I prefer to stay with evidence and facts, so really I don't know, I guess we will have to wait until some climate change happens before we can know for sure.
Temperature goes up, a lot of hot temperature records occurred in past decade. So much for the "pause"

It causes the earth to get warm which makes people want to drive to the beach. This driving emits CO2, and water. Both of these will kill you. You can drown in water and CO2 is like bad breath.
Then, your car gets broken into at the beach so you have to have a policeman drive over and this pollutes even more.
The effect on temperature is that it increases. Pay no attention to claims that warming has stopped. No one really knows what will happen with precipitation.
