If predictions are science, then do global warming scientists play the lottery?

Same with Physic too .

They are definitely playing the lottery with our money. Al Gore, Maurice Strong, and George Soros, just to name a few, are cashing in big time.

Quote by Noel Brown, UN official: "Entire nations could be wiped off the face of the Earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000. Coastal flooding and crop failures would create an exodus of "eco-refugees," threatening political chaos."

How much power did our government grab by that lie? How much did Al Gore's bank account increase by that lie?

You have a better chance of winning the lottery than the greenies have of proving GW.

I think that you should learn a bit more about the scientific method.

The lottery is, by design, a random event (or a number of random events), carefully designed to be unpredictable.

Under the scientific method, one of the tests for a valid scientific theory is its success in making predictions. So far, the only failure of climate science theory is that the Earth is warming faster than theory predicts. But that is not an argument for inaction.

Well, with eight picks of the balls, their are eight variables. I'd guess the climate has dozens or hundreds. As poor as the models are, they are amazingly good, considering how hard the science is.

Predictions are not science, they are guesses based on the currently avaiable information.

Yeah, they always lose, but they're very accustomed to making crap predictions by now.

I can predict my pen will fall if it rolls off a table. Can I have 50 million euro please? Dollars are also acceptable.

No.

Seems like they would, after all, there are fewer variables in the lottery than in the climate. And if science is about predicting, then you would think that many global warming scientists would play the lottery often and win more then most people. What do you think?
