A short time back there was indeed a false report there had been no warming fo 16 years. Unfortunately the man lied and the MET printed a disclaimer to to that effect.

Atic ice grows in the winter because that is what it does. However; it starts late and ends early so the summer ice melt is faster than average and both poles have seen temps increase twice as fast as the rest of the planet. Antarctica has seen surface ice increase in winter, so it would appear there is more ice. BUT the ice melt there is on the western shelf which is melting from underneath and the Antarctic ice is decreasing in volume;
Your information source is faulty. The truth is the truth and GW/climate change is real, it is man made and it is already here.
Of course Global Warming is real, and the Earth has been warming ever since the last glaciers receded 13,000 years ago. You do know that half the United States was under a blanket of ice, don't you? Well then, you can't deny Global Warming. But it's no big deal, i'm sure the trend will continue.
The facts are that CO2 is a greenhouse gas, that without greenhouse gasses the earth average temperature would be 33C colder (a giant snowball) and that we have added 40% more CO2 to the atmosphere. There is not one person who denies these facts. The claim that the earth has not warmed is denier myth number 9 on Skepticalscience dot com. A useful site that keeps a list of the more common denier claims and debunks each and every one of them.

The warming in the last hundred years is about equal to the previous hundred if you look at non tree proxies which can't be manipulated. Alarmism depends on ice core proxies which are unreliable and not accurate or precise. Alarmisms depends on tree ring proxies that have been proved to be manipulated and completely bogus. Finally alarmism depends on belief without evidence. They must therefore deny facts that threaten their cult like belief system.
