What are the arguments of planting trees?

Tree Farmers plant them all of the time. They plant them in rows and plant many more than they cut down. It's their business. I don't see an argument. You're entitled to plant as many as you want. Just be careful where you plant them. They've been known to destroy foundations of homes if you plant them too close to the house.

The political left too often behaves like a religion and one of its religious symbols is the tree. Trees are only one type of plant. Many on the left believe that planting trees will save the planet. It is idiotic and ridiculous of course. If you don't plant a tree, other plants will grow there. In fact, by planting trees, native plants may be harmed or prevented from growing but we never hear about that from the tree huggers. Allowing nature to decide what is going to grow in a certain places makes a lot of sense. I like trees as much as the next man but I also like grasslands and other environments. I don't have an urge to turn the world into an unnatural forest.

Arguments for or against planting trees?

This question is a little vague. Are you asking for why trees should be planted? There are many benefits to planting trees. Such as: Social Benefits, Communal Benefits, Economic Benefits, and (in my opinion the most important) Environmental Benefits.

Trees…

-filter pollution from the air

-help recycle water

-prevent soil loss

-create shade

-give shelter from wind and rain

-provide homes for animals

-make food for humans and wildlife

-provide an interesting, soothing, learning environment for children and your community

Workers who are planting trees, are often very bored and prone to arguments. I've heard some of these arguments, it's usually about not getting paid enough, bad back, meaningless job, not getting enough sex. The arguments are however pretty much limitless.

What idiot would argue against it?

The Dakotas were barren plains until the homesteaders planted trees.

If you plant one inside, it could possibly be in the way?

Trees are beautiful, give shade, bear fruit, hinder erosion, block winds and are a home to wildlife.

we kill too many, over 200 trees are cut down to make room for one house (property, and douzens more for building the house, and think about every house being built and that has ever been build thats a lot of trees js. and thats not counting all the area clear cut for parking lots roads building farmland and hundreds of other uses, plain and simple humans kill too many trees we need to fix at least a tiny bit of our past mistakes an save the habitat of all our favourite animals and all there animal-ly buddies lol!
