So, do I believe people who have never taken a climate measurement, got mediocre marks in maths in school, and can't explain why pressure, temperature and volume of a gas are inter-related, or the people who got PhDs in climatology, design experiments, analyse data, and write computer models?

Truth is over the last year or so, real newspapers and magazines have reported GW more accurately instead of playing up the denier fare without examining it for credibility like it has done in the past. Even dailymail, and fox news have changed their focus.

If the Sun does have a stronger effect on climate than was previously thought, it would mean that carbon dioxide also has a stronger effect than was once thought, It would mean that carbon dioxide would have to do more heavy lifting to overcome the cooling effect from solar trends of the past 44 years.

Educated people go to the science journals for science.
The most important, most cited journal for climate research is Nature Climate Change.

These are the places that thinking people go for science news. What you link to are propaganda site, not designed for critical thinkers. The are designed for uneducated easy-to-fool people who do not or cannot read. These are for people who want to stay uneducated. That is why there is absolutely zero scientific explanations there.
Never had it. Knew they were scamming us back in the 60s when they scared everyone with an imminent Ice Age. When they reversed course and changed it to AGW after Spencer, among others, proved that they were warming slightly, that put the last nail in the coffin.
There were a lot of scientists who went along with it initially. These did not question their fellow scientists. Among the scientific community we trusted our fellow scientists back then. We trusted the theory of Relativity and much of that has proven not to be true. But it was conceived by an honest man and thus it was a good starting point. When environmental disaster was cast upon the scientific community, many of the scientists trusted their fellow 'scientists', like Paul Ehrlich, and gave it the same respect that we gave Relativity. Paul Ehrlich has proven to be a nit-wit and a crook, but is still held in high regard by the greenies. He authored a book, THE POPULATION BOMB, and the only thing he got right was the bomb. All his predictions bombed. But he is still highly regarded among the IPCC crowd because he has great credentials, as a Stanford professor, and he can write scary scenarios. He is not a climate scientist, but is a butterfly expert, but that does not stop the greenies from considering every word he says as gospel.
When you listen to con artists disguised as scientists you are heading for trouble. This has proven out.

I was 37 yrs old when I heard about global warming I am 67yrs old now and still waiting for the horrible burning death they forecast for me.
No Rolando. without an atmosphere we would be 33 degrees colder, take away the Co2 only and it wouldn't make much difference.
