The first thing you need to do is distinguish "climate change" from human caused climate change. Climates have always changed. Pretending to know that humans are causing the recent change is a result of ignorance and lies from those who have a political agenda rather than a scientific one.
Here are some points you can research and use:
1. There is a large body of evidence that indicates global warming isn't happening -- or isn't happening nearly to the degree the alarmists claim. In addition, the global warming alarmists cannot conclusively prove that global warming -- IF it is really happening -- is definitely being caused by human beings. The eruptions of Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Pinatubo put more pollutants and greenhouse gases into our atmosphere than all the pollutants created by humans since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution.
2. Much of the research that supposedly "proves" global warming is funded by pro-environmentalist groups, which calls the accuracy of the data and conclusions into question (READ: People are paying for a result that favors their position).
3. Certain global warming advocates have been caught altering their data to a great degree in order to "prove" global warming is happening and have even engaged in actively trying to ruin the careers of scientists that disagree with them (Google "Climategate" and see what the so-called "experts" at the University of East Anglia did).
4. History has taught us that human interference with nature can do more harm than good. Case in point: The dams on the Nile River that destroyed the Nile River Valley and introduced famine and pestilence to Egypt. There's no guarantee that "going green" will help, but there is a mountain of evidence to show that green energy is very expensive, not very efficient, and not very reliable.

Seriously: all of the world greatest science academies have said it is "indisputable" that humans are causing climate change. That is thei rword. In scientists eye, it cannot be disputed. You must either explain that all of the greatest physicists of the word do no understand physics as well as you do, or that they are all -- every one of them -- lying commie pinkos. I'd prolly lead with that -- that the pinkos have taken over physics, trust no one.

(My advice is to talk to your teacher. Change the topic. Debate the economics of mitigation versus adaptation. As is, your opponents have all science on their side and that is not fair.)
