Isn't Agenda 21 the ultimate goal for the environmental movement?

What more proof do we need to see before we come to the collective conclusion that so-called "global warming" is nothing more than a new age religion?

Agenda 21 is based on a Communistic premise where it dictates how the masses (peons to them) will live together. 30 years ago I took a train from Hull, England to London. It seemed as if this Agenda 21 idea of grouping people together started there. A very sad-looking suburban scene to me. Had never seen such ilk. Of course when I came into London, everything started to look like people were well-to-do. A pristine city.

Agenda 21 is a Government Elite idea. Yes, environmental concerns are at the epicenter and are the building blocks of a One-World Government. They start with the big cities where people can be forced to adhere to environmental legislation. Big cities and outlining suburban areas are the easy part for them. They can enforce their agenda with minimal movement and cover a large portion of the world populace (Obama was elected using this agenda - Communistic organizing and Community organizing have the exact same meaning).

It's well organized and has been moving steadfastly forward. All based upon controlling water and gaining control of land. It's an environmentalist's dream plan.

Before the quote police get here, I'd like to point out that it is highly unlikely that quote came directly from any Agenda 21 document. It has been attributed by some to George Bush Sr. in 1992 but it has also been attributed to environmentalist lawyer Daniel Sitarz. I haven't been able to confirm but it seems most likely to be from Sitarz.

Regardless, if you really read what it says there is nothing with any meat to it; it's more like an interpretation of the philosophy of Agenda 21. It might sound scary to some (like me) or it might sound refreshing to others (like those who feel the world is going to hell in a hand basket).

Besides, it's already full on underway. We had a bridge under construction in our city and workers found a nesting Barn Swallow. The orders were to immediately stop all work: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/sou...

Of course, if you're building a wind turbine and some inconvenient eagle nest is in the way, well just cut it out of the tree and move it: http://i0.wp.com/ontario-wind-resistance...

As usual we have Sagebrush lying about the "Club of Rome"

In 1991, the Club published The First Global Revolution. It analyses the problems of humanity, calling these collectively or in essence the 'problematique'. It notes (laments) that, historically, social or political unity has commonly been motivated by enemies in common: "The need for enemies seems to be a common historical factor. Some states have striven to overcome domestic failure and internal contradictions by blaming external enemies. The ploy of finding a scapegoat is as old as mankind itself - when things become too difficult at home, divert attention to adventure abroad. Bring the divided nation together to face an outside enemy, either a real one, or else one invented for the purpose. With the disappearance of the traditional enemy, the temptation is to use religious or ethnic minorities as scapegoats, especially those whose differences from the majority are disturbing." "Every state has been so used to classifying its neighbours as friend or foe, that the sudden absence of traditional adversaries has left governments and public opinion with a great void to fill. New enemies have to be identified, new strategies imagined, and new weapons devised." "In searching for a common enemy against whom we can unite, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like, would fit the bill. In their totality and their interactions these phenomena do constitute a common threat which must be confronted by everyone together. But in designating these dangers as the enemy, we fall into the trap, which we have already warned readers about, namely mistaking symptoms for causes. All these dangers are caused by human intervention in natural processes, and it is only through changed attitudes and behaviour that they can be overcome. The real enemy then is humanity itself." The tin foil hat crowd is out today. Conspiracies abounding.

Those interested should understand that the "question" is a flat out lie. Just a paranoid mindless Glenn Beck whacko drone. Aaaaa ...

Ottawa Mike defends the lie. Truth, honesty, and integrity are too PC for his blood so he endorses paranoid dishonesty.

Yeah, the whackos are out of their cages.

Of course nobody should automatically believe me when I claim the asker is dishonest. You can read the text of Agenda 21 yourself and see for yourself if he is a liar to be ignored.

And or course, without the Glenn Beck tin hat whackomania, you can decide for yourself whether you believe this voluntary direction is a direction you wish your world, country, state, county, city or neighborhood should go.

Don't be a whacko sheep. Do your own reading and your own thinking.

If the Barn Swallow's nest was vacant, it could be removed, It has nothing to do with any specific project.

Nesting seasons are not state secrets.Poor planning on the road project is their problem.

In other words totalianism, or we are going to own your @ss

Quote from the UN's Own "Agenda 21": "Effective execution of Agenda 21 will require a profound reorientation of all human society, unlike anything the world has ever experienced a major shift in the priorities of both governments and individuals and an unprecedented redeployment of human and financial resources. This shift will demand that a concern for the environmental consequences of every human action be integrated into individual and collective decision-making at every level."
