Current events: Will global warming destroy us?

Now people may already know that increasing atmospheric carbon dioxide emissions are the major cause of global warming. The results of a survey of the International Energy Agency show that carbon dioxide emissions the United States, China, Russia and Japan accounted for almost half of the global total. Greenhouse effect or global warming causes the tip to dissolve, flooding the earth, of course, when humans would not exist.

But research scientists showed that the greenhouse effect or global warming has accelerated the destruction of the ozone layer. Although the culprit causing ozone depletion is Freon, but warming exacerbates the destruction of the ozone layer. We probably all know that the ozone layer is the most important condition terrestrial organisms survive, the most serious consequence is the extinction of terrestrial organisms widespread destruction of the ozone layer, of course, including humans. Perhaps human iceberg dissolved before it flooded the Earth because of extensive damage to the ozone layer have been killed N kinds of harmful rays of the sun. This is not alarmist.

No! Not a chance. Global warming is nothing more than something we need to improve upon. We do need to reduce our CO2 emissions, but this is not some gloom and doom crap. The world is not ending. The temps have increase by 0.8 degrees over th last 100 years and sea levels are rising by about an inch every 8 years. FAR from a catastrophe.

As for the Fermi paradox, Got to love the arrogance of some academics. We have no evidence that life outside this planet even exists. We certainly have no knowledge of civilizations outside our planet. Yet here is an academic talking about all intelligent civilizations. What a load of garbage. Intelligent life outside this planet may be so different from us that any such statement would be absurd, if they even exist.

We know that it is happening for our civilization. That is what we know.

Climate change is to the 21st century what Nuclear War was to the 20th century.

As we get farther into the century the growing issue will make itself more clear, and action will probably present itself as being necessary to deal with very quickly.

It is a test.

The Fermi paradox states that all intelligent civilizations within the universe reach this point that the technology of a civilization is so great that it has the power to destroy itself. (Climate change) It states that most destroy themselves during this period unless they reach a point that the technology has a way of preventing any kind of disaster.

Humankind has had the power to destroy itself since the second world war.

If we can get past the environmental crisis we have solved another of the issues that could destroy us.

I think we will solve it, but it may not be pretty.

I believe that the human race has a great destiny and will continue to solve all problems for millions of more years. Our ability to adapt is absolutely incredible.

It's the human ability to adapt and solve crises that I believe will save us.

Absolutely not! Please don't fall for the hype. Keep in mind that there are tens of thousands of crooked, so-called 'scientists, universities and 'green' industries who depend on the CAGW scam to make their livings at the expense of hard-earned, Taxpayer dollars.

Those crooks need to stop with the lies and stay out of our pockets. Global Warming is all about the Money!!

If you mean the global warming that hasn't even happened for the last 18 years, then no.

There are a long list of threats that are far more dangerous that global warming alarmists ignore. They wouldn't know a real threat if it came up from behind them and bit off their leg.

yes, global warming destroy us day by day

No. not from man-made climate change anyway, our Earth has been much warmer in past periods, and CO2 has been much higher in the past too, and the Earth was never destroyed then, so there is no reason to think either will destroy our planet in the future.

yes, global warming destroy us day by day

yes, global warming destroy us day by day

Probably in about 2058, winds will get stronger, hail larger, La Nina and Al Nino stronger. And then larger tidal waves, and larger glacier melt downs in a decade longer @ 2068. That's what I think anyway?

yes, global warming destroy us day by day

No but the conservative movement will

unless it's destroyed first

as time goes on; soon we will learn to live under the water or inside of the mountains with a good power and irrigation and filtering supply

there will be entire cities under the sea as well as in the mountains- just think how many mountains there are which is deep andf is not being used.

No but the conservative movement will

unless it's destroyed first

Our technology and man made waste destroy us day by day.
