No! Not a chance. Global warming is nothing more than something we need to improve upon. We do need to reduce our CO2 emissions, but this is not some gloom and doom crap. The world is not ending. The temps have increase by 0.8 degrees over th last 100 years and sea levels are rising by about an inch every 8 years. FAR from a catastrophe.
As for the Fermi paradox, Got to love the arrogance of some academics. We have no evidence that life outside this planet even exists.
