Are Glaciers returning to Scotland?

One season doth not a glacier make.

Did you read the article?

"Due to the unprecedented quantity of snow that fell between December of last year and March of this year, almost 300 “snow patches” remain in Highland mountains despite the warm weather the region has enjoyed this summer."

If there's more snow, it takes longer to melt. That's hardly "returning glaciers."

But, it gets better.

"The 69-year-old, from Linlithgow, West Lothian, said: “The tunnel stays in shadow for most of the day and rarely sees the sun. Because of that, the snow is still several metres deep in places and below it, the stream has run through to create this spectacular tunnel. It’s like a mini glacier.”

Good lord, it's snow. Where there was water added to it, you get something that might superficially look like glacier. If you grew up in snow country, you saw what happens when you get rain on top of snow. Voila -- a glacier. 1/2 inch thick. On top of the sidewalk that you have to shovel. Thank god for the snow under that "glacier". if the "glacier" was stuck directly to the sidewalk it would have been much more difficult for you to apply "global warming" with your snow shovel.

And to the believers, more snow, cold, and increasing ice caps are just more proof that the earth is warming.

Nope. Get back to us in 20 years.

No it won't be happen again

Seems to be well documented that it is.
