Its actually quite flattering that they want to be scientists, but didn't quite have the ability to make it in science. Maybe we should show their posts to new classes of undergrads and tell the class that this is what you become when you drop out. The undergrads will study harder and some good will come of it.

I'm tired of people who once studied science in secondary school for three years, three hours a week, believing they are sufficiently qualified to assess, judge, critique and dismiss the work of professional scientists.

the sad part is that they call themselves skeptics. true skeptics would check their 'facts'. A simple google check of volcanoes and climate with the advanced search option of GOV or EDU puts into question their own claims.

I am tired of people who read the dailymail pretending that that is reading science.
