So do we really kill our planet?

Are humans killing our planet? Do we really impact it as much as they say to be considered a plague? References would be appreciated with your answers.

The planet is just fine. What you have is a lot of greedy and powerful people trying to scare you into giving them power and money.

Top climate scientists say there is no man-made Global Warming.

The Great Global Warming Swindle

The planet itself is fine, it’s very resilient and has survived all manner of disasters in the past. It’s the life on the planet that is delicate.

There have been times in the past when humans have nearly become extinct, most recently some 73,000 years ago following the massive Toba volcanic eruption. This caused global cooling and the average temperature fell by about 4°C. Whilst this might not sound a lot, in climatic terms it means complete disruption. It was enough to reduce the human population to just a few thousand, everyone on the planet today is a descendant of these people.

Humans have had a massive impact on the planet and this has radically altered the biodiversity. Occasionally we do good things, most of the time it’s bad. Many species are now extinct, habitats are being destroyed, the land air and oceans have become polluted, we’re using resources much faster than nature can replace them.

It’s quite depressing when you realise that the largest structure humans have ever intentionally built is a landfill site and our largest unintentional creation is a vortex of plastic debris floating in the Pacific that’s about the size of India.

Whilst we’re not really killing the planet, we’re doing a pretty good job of messing it up. Considering the planet has been around thousands of times longer than humans have, the chances are it will still be here long after we’ve gone and in time it will sort itself out.

The planet will be just fine. Humans on the other hand might not be around, or at least not in the 7 billion range we are in now. Probably a couple hundred million will survive.

The planet? Don't make me laugh.

Large parts of the biosphere? Open your eyes and take a look around.

No, we aren't killing the planet. This is just propaganda. Humans are a unique species though, they are the only one that seems to have elements within them which want to bring their own species to ruination.

the more science and technology gives us benefits, the more nature is affected.

whatever science and technology approach like using insecticides in agriculture or make life easier from transportation but on the other hand day by day the we leads nature to the affected way. so we all the humans should be aware of environment degradation other wise the existence of human will be a tell-story

Well the planet is not alive and you can't kill something that is not alive,so no.

It depends on your point of view if we humans are a plague. Lincoln probably explained it best when he said "The shepherd drives the wolf from the sheep’s throat, for which the sheep thanks the shepherd as a liberator, while the wolf denounces him for the same act as the destroyer of liberty." [1]

I didn't know the planet was alive, and the warmers say this isn't a religion. LMAO

Our planet has been here for 4.5 billion years and has suffered overwhelming volcanic activity, impacts from super asteroids, and life still survives.

I don't think mere man can cause much damage.

A plague? If so, life is a plague. Life will outlast us.

No. It's about scaring the world population into implementing a binding agreement to enforce UN agenda 21. It has nothing to do with the environment.

The planet will out live us

The Earth is dying! The Earth is dying! The Earth is dying! Give me a trillion dollars and 2000 year and I will prove it! By the way, please buy Al Gore's Super Snake Oil.

In direct answer to your question: No, man doesn't have enough power to destroy the Earth.

Eccl 1:4 One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever. KJV

Do you really think that the Grand Creator would create a planet so flimsy that man could destroy it? It will never happen.

The pot that boils the frog will be fine.

yes
