CO2 is a greenhouse gas.
And to test that hypothesis you can capture a given volume of air - for instance in a clear plastic bag. Put a temperature sensor in there. Put the plastic bag in the sun for a while. Measure the temperature after a given time.
At the same time, have a bag of CO2 - same volume - in another clear plastic bag. Do the same.
If the temperature in the bag with CO2 is higher than the bag of air, then CO2 is a greenhouse gas.
Hypothesis: The warming of the troposphere since 1960 is caused by an increase in the strength of the greenhouse effect.
Testable Question: If the hypothesis is true, then the Stratosphere would be cooling. Has the Stratosphere cooled since 1960?

Global warming is Global warming
We need to do something before it gets worse! Not only that but it's killing animals and even some ppl! If it keeps getting hotter and the climate changes it could kill all life and us obviously. They are predicting that as more man made pollution is made and as it gets hotter that the sea levels will rise more and more and we could sink and that there will be more natural disasters. I don't want that and I assume others wont so I'm just trying to put this all out there and make ppl more aware of what's going on around us becuz earth is our only home and we need to take care of it better<3
Baccheus: I don't think stratospheric cooling is a good indication. The stratosphere is also susceptible to ozone concentration and, it has been stated, as the ozone recovers there has actually been warming in the stratosphere.
It happens all the time according to geological records and ice core samples therefore it will happen all the time in the future just the same.
