The last time we had warming, not that long ago 9000 to 5000 yrs bp, (the climate optimum) the world was a wetter place, the Sahara was green, with rivers and lakes, China had forests where now is grassland or deserts, hippos lived in the Thames river and in Holland.
Temperature at the poles were 4C warmer but at the tropics only 1C warmer, sounds pretty nice to me.
Predictions are lame, when we already know from history what will happen.

I don't agree that no one has proven 'human-caused Global Warming', but I do see your doubt given the small size of the changes compared to past known natural changes, but it is a very subtle and slow process. Also it is very hard to quantify. Even measuring "THE" temperature of the world is not easy (maybe even impossible), so measuring a change in a quantity that cannot be measured reliably is questionable.

It's all part of the unfalsifiable hypothesis. AGW causes more water to evaporate leading to more droughts and more floods. AGW also causes increased hurricane activity due to warmer water and decreased activity due to high level wind shear. More rain, less rain, more hurricanes, fewer hurricanes- all due to global warming.

Secondly, the word 'longer' is subjective. Terms like this are used particularly by con artists and politicians who want you to think in terms favorable to their cause. Changing youur thought process from logic to emotion.
Thirdly, of which droughts is the questioner referring to? If you read Genesis' account of Joseph, the nation of Israel suffered a long drought Or is he referring to the dust bowl of the 30s in the USA? In fact, he makes no reference but just ambiguities which delight other mentally handicapped people.
