Do 97% of scientists agree with Roy Spencer concerning global warming?

It's possible 97% of some weird subset of scientists agree with Roy Spencer, like "97% of all creationist climate scientists at UAH." In general I don't think he gets a lot of respect from the scientific community, it didn't help that others had to point out errors with the UAH satellite temperatures.

I don't think anybody agrees with Spencer. Even his partner at UAH, John Christy, appears to not agree with him. Spencer has a reputation as a curve-fitter, and always wrong. He's been stuck on his clouds theory for 30 years and has managed to convince nobody. Nobody.

Does anybody know of a published climate researcher who believes with Spencer that global warming has all been caused by random cloud changes? Sagebrush, can you name one other person who believes that?

Sometimes Richard Lindzen get put on list of "skeptics" as though they agree. But Lindzen theories a very different from Spencers and seem contrary to me. Spencer believes that clouds have caused warming; Lindzen believes that clouds will be a negative feedback to human-caused warming and offset it.

Those who actually know what Spencer believes also know that almost nobody agrees with him. Jello is just another example who how only uneducated people deny climate change.

I think Jello meant to say 97% of scientists recognized the errors in Roy Spencer's statements equating Van der Waals size with absorption cross section.

STATEMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT AND PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE OF THE UNITED STATES SENATE - Roy W. Spencer, PhD

"It should also be noted that the fact that I believe at least some of recent warming is human-caused places me in the 97% of researchers recently claimed to support the global warming consensus (actually, it’s 97% of the published papers, Cook et al., 2013). The 97% statement is therefore rather innocuous, since it probably includes all of the global warming “skeptics” I know of who are actively working in the field."

We don't need no stinking proof. If you greenies can say 97% agree with you without proof, so can we. Who is to say who is wrong. The true scientists are on the high moral ground since we haven't been repeatedly caught for lying.

When I asked if any of you greenies really believe the 97% none of you would admit to it, except maybe the Dorkster. He would believe anything Al Gore or Wikipedia says.

Maybe all of those 97% scientist the greenies claim graduated from Wikipedia U.

The AGW alarmist define scientist as climate scientist who support global warming, and the scientist that don't support AGW are not considered climate scientist. Also the scientist that don't support AGW are blacklisted and find it hard to get jobs and research funds.

Jello asked, "Do you think Dr. Roy Spencer is a knowledgeable about so-called global warming? And what about the 97% of scientists who agree with him? "

Does anyone have a clue which 97% of scientists he might have been talking about?

OR, did he just add the "%" and really mean 97 scientists?
