It seems that solar activity is reducing, and that this could be enough to reduce global temperatures by between 0.06 C and 0.10 C:

Global warming from greenhouse gases is much larger than this. The collapse in solar activity could cancel out about 5 years of current global warming, but if we keep emitting CO2 like we are now, then warming will accelerate and a collapse in solar activity would be worth more like a 1-3 year delay in warming by 2100.
One might note that the GPWF is a global warming denier group.
And the wiki article is more than a little thin.
The idea that it's been cooling since the '90s, or, since 1998, or since 2005, is pretty much silly.
It's not.
9 of the 10 hottest years have all occurred in this millennium.
Around the world, despite the relatively cool summer that some in the US have had, 2014 is shaping up to be one of the hottest.
BTW, jello was my first guess, but maxx isn't all that different.
Possibly, we dont know enough about the sun and it's effect on our climate, but past correlations indicate we should be concerned, global warming is not a problem (it might even be nice) but global cooling would be disasterous.

Its a myth AGW never really started .
That definitely has me more concerned than our CO2. If they could figure out how to tax sunspots, we would probably be in some big trouble. Maybe I should be quiet before I give someone an idea.
The Global Cold (ing) is starting!
Yeah it's all over and done with.
