It ties in very well with "solar forcing", but CO2 is too important to these "climate science engineers" so this may damage some of their credibility. Don't be surprised if they try and "muddy-up" this information.
I shall follow the thread with interest - being an electrical engineer with an interest in GW I don't see how I could do any other.
However, I am not holding my breath for a major breakthrough. It might provide another point of view from which to look at an aspect of the problem, though.
So far, on the Gore/Trenberth scale it seems to be wavering about the Eschenbach level!
