And the reason for asking the question is for you to be able to subsequently argue something about *global* warming based on a cold US spring? Are you going to say 'how could *global* warming be real when a tiny fraction of the total surface area of the planet had a particularly cold spring'? Are you going to be THAT predictable? ;)
Oh look. I googled it and I'm right. The 2nd coldest was 2013. The coldest was 1975.
Additional: What was significant about 1975? I'd guess what you'd refer to is Newsweek's story in 1975 about a global cooling trend?
