Shouldn't greenies be at least a little ashamed that they scare kids over an unprovable theory?

They should be. This recently deleted question shows that.

Are alarmists to blame for an escalation in the anxiety levels of today’s youth?

"Child psychiatrists, psychologists and educators say they’ve seen an escalation in the anxiety levels of today’s youth, who are constantly exposed to doomsday talk about the destruction of our planet."

Shame is a big word. Don't bother to use that Greenie Elitist thing called a dictionary to try to understand.

Just look in the mirror. And at your school grades in science.

The forests that sustain the Earth and give us the oxygen to breathe are being cut down daily , how soon before there is nothing on Earth to supply oxygen and we all die ? That death promise is being carried out on every level in every industry already, there is no question here to ask. No one feels shame, they rationalize it all away and quote the fools who pretend to know something. Ask how traumatized the youth was back during the religious crusades, or during the Spanish Inquisition, and on it goes, throughout history. Our spoiled rotten useless youth now days need to be frightened, and they are all neurotic anyway so there is no big deal here expect to waste precious time on foolish questions no one cares about anyway.

I consider it to be child-abuse.

It is so sad that Alarmist Hippies are allowed to brainwash innocent children. Nazis did the same thing by way of their 'Hitler Youth' program.

I've never seen anyone that are bigger "alarmists" than you and your buddies.

Want to know something that really scares little kids? How about the story of the crucifixion of Christ, or that there's a "Holy Ghost", or for something really ghoulish and scary to kids, what about the idea of transubstantiation, where little kids are made to eat his flesh and drink his blood?

Now THAT'S scary to little kids.

We also "scare kids" over the "unprovable theory" that germs cause disease, so they should wash their hands if they don't want to get sick.

The scientific definition of the word "theory" means more like "best available explanation as supported by evidence" than "guess". Try to say that we shouldn't rely on the predictions of the "unprovable" atomic theory, germ theory, and so on, and you'll be laughed out of the room

Shouldn't the deniers be ashamed that despite the overwhelming scientific consensus on AGW, they are attempting to compromise the future of their children and grandchildren?

Greenies have no shame.

Lying to little kids is just fine with them. Just push the agenda for power and money, that's all they care about.

Like when denialists frighten little children with stories about "warmers" wanting to take away our freedoms.

Better a little fear than pure ignorance being bred and taught by deniers

This is an article where a flooding river is blamed on Climate Change. These kids are mental wrecks from this Goebbels' type lie.

A theory like gravitation.
