The uks weather is incredibly unpredictable due to the fact we are in a unique place in relation to the gulf air stream or the north atlantic drift. we can have warm air carried across the atlantic from the much warmer usa.during winter which heats us up and at other times the drift is way up north or way down south where it will not touch us and so we get a bloody cold winter. We also get the last bits of their heavy storms sometimes and they can tear us up. there is so much talk about climate change which involves a ridiculous amount of graphs and equations that I will not bore you with but I will say its hard to believe.
What global warming? It's been cooling for at least 12 years according to HadCrut3 & HadCrut4 is nearly flat. http://www.woodfortrees.org/plot/hadcrut...
According to RSS Satellite data there has been no warming for almost 18 years.
