Apparently the elites will not have to change, but only the peons of the world. I wonder how much beef will have to be flown in? I am sure this place is air conditioned. How much fossil fuel will it take for everyone to fly there. And all on our (the taxpayer's) dime.
It looks like the facility itself only cost $54 million. The entire event will cost Peru $100 million of which, $20 million has been provided by the international community. Between increased business for hotels, restraunts, and hookers, Peru should make back most of that $80,000.
Our diplomats need the very, very best of the planets resources to help save the planet from us regular people who are plundering the earths resources. Clearly this is far more important than to provide clean water to children. I wonder what's on the menu?
