Global warming question?

Sounds like this isn't a class but a chance to disseminate propaganda, and you are the recipient to be brainwashed.

It is in fact policies to combat global warming that would harm all of those things. Higher energy costs leave poor people in poverty.

I'm not going to do your homework for you, but I'll give you some speculation and information to work from.

1. It is possible that increasing scarcity in poor nations, changes in resource distribution, et cetera will lead to resource wars, refugees, et cetera, which would reduce peace, security, and social justice.

2. Most of the things I mentioned in 1 would also cause poverty.

3. As things increasingly change from established norms, we will likely need to take a larger percentage of the world's available fresh water, cultivate more land, move human settlements to new locations, and otherwise exploit nature even more than we already do.

4. Human settlements may be directly and absolutely dislocated by sea level rise, or may be more stealthily dislocated by changes in crop growth, water availability, and so forth that could necessitate that a large fraction of the local population leave for "greener pastures" if they want to survive.

Global Warming ended in 2012 and all seasons have returned to normal. Environment= all non solids that rise into the upper atmosphere separate into nothingness by nature.

Human settlements would suffer the grestest because of the rise in water level from the melting of the polar ice caps. This water level rise would result in many coastal areas to be completely floaded and destroyed.

Global Cooling would negatively impact all 4.

BTW, the Earth is not "hot".

Tell your teacher that you are a free thinker and that you do not subscribe to the notion that the planet is even warming, that even if it was it is not a bad thing and we are not causing it.

this is something we are doing in social studies that involves global warming

which of these four social dimensions of environmental sustainability would suffer the greatest harms from global warming.

1. peace, security, and social justice

2. poverty

3. human relationship with nature

4. human settlements

basically, if the earth got even hotter, which of these aspects would be affected the most. please explain.
