The availability of clean, sterilized, and drinkable water is there for all to enjoy. Exploiting areas that don't have the technology at their disposal is used by the environmental ELITES. When the Political, Governmental, environmental, and financial ELITES stop blocking people's ability to obtain and maintain clean water, the world that these people live in will never be exploited by these people again.
At $1,500.00 a water well, 1% of global climate science funding (let's call it $2 billion) could drill about 1.3 million wells. At $5,000 a well, 1% of climate science funding could drill about 400,000 wells for the under-privileged nations and it would be clean water.
Almost all the cities in the USA don't have clean water, it's full of chlorine and fluoride. It was good water before the government got involved.
Basically all countries in africa except south africa either don't have access to water let alone clean water or the water they can get is way contaminated and usually far away
There are plenty of poor places (just about all poor places) that have a problem getting good drinkable water.
The Deepwater Horizon oil spill was in 2010. Although every group that could, took money from ARCO, the actual damage was minimal IMO but then again I need evidence of damage not just claims from the usual suspects.

I guess you refer to access to clean water rather than clean water alone.
According to the latest figures, some 783 million people don't have access to clean water, most of whom are in 3rd or developing world countries.
