Is it official now that the UK is stepping down on true scientists?

Looks again like the greenies are frustrated and want to punish all dissenters.

How is that different than Hitler?

Yes, this appears to be the case. Policy and propaganda, not real science. I have friends in the UK, and they tell me that there are plenty of folks who are skeptical of the AGW popular rant...which has been thrust down their throats.

Quite the opposite, with 97% of those scientist who are active in climate research agree that human activity has an effect, the BBC is still trying to give 50% time to "skeptics"

"The producers of the recent Today Programme piece on the new IPCC report tried, we are told, more than a dozen qualified climate scientists willing to give an opposing view but could not find a single one (a hint, perhaps, that there is indeed a scientific consensus on global warming). Instead, they gave equal time to a well-known expert and to Australian retired geologist with no background in the field." [1]

How is this different from Hitler? Well Hitler killed millions of people, just like you proposed to kill 65,915,796 Americans [2] for the crime of voting for the wrong political candidate when you wrote "Execute all those who voted for OBAMA".

From what I could read of the article, it looks like the British government wants to end any *official* "endorsement" of anti-AGW views. Not arrest or execute "skeptics", just not air their views on publicly funded television or in any context that seems like official government endorsement of them.

If there were more than a handful of people claiming that the Earth was flat, they would probably be getting similar treatment. I don't necessarily endorse censorship, even of people who are wrong, but I fully understand the impulse. And, keep in mind, the UK doesn't have the first amendment or any direct equivalent.

No. Reality always wins out in the end no matter how much you try to stifle it.

Wow. Godwin's Law. It was only a matter of time...
