Well I'm a global warming skeptic, I think CO2 has very little effect on warming, but all the same I am against driving gas guzzlers and wasting energy.
The problem with over population is developed countries are denying third world countries cheap energy, with cheap energy comes economic development, prosperity, and education, with that comes lowered birth rates, and caring for the environment, believe me you will never care about your environment if you are struggling to find food, or if by cutting trees and slash and burn you might find a little money to send your children to school.
Remember billions still have no electricity, how can you advance without electricity.
the reason the term "green" is used reflects the green leaving your pocket and going into the left wingers pockets. Green harms the environment. It kills jobs and family security. Windfarms destroy wildlife and ruin the land making it uninhabitable for man or beast. Solor has always been a failure which is why no one wants it.
Actually overpopulation is not a problem. Even the developing world is seeing its fertility rates drop considerably. The only exception is maybe in Islamic countries. Of course if Islam becomes the dominant religion, then the mandated sharia lifestyle would lead to less CO2 emissions.
Over population is self correcting. Our emitting tons/day of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere is also self correcting. Guess how it is self correcting. Before it sequesters these anthropogenic greenhouse gases again, it eliminates the anthropogenic source. ... Food for thought?
Al Gore and his fans do not realize that no matter if you went to complete solar power that the earth would still end up just as warm and spoiled from increased overpopulation of the planet. Until you solve that problem you cannot solve the other.
How come a liberal cannot fathom this fact?
