Global warming scientists agree with the comment that global warming does increase the number of home runs in baseball.?

I don't know about that. Their study is inconclusive. You would have to factor in the usage of steroids. A better question would be, "Does GW enhance the effectiveness of steroids?"

If it did and GW was really true, don't you think the bookies would be on to it?

What scientists agree? this is a statement made by Tim McCarver who is an American sports caster and former professional baseball catcher.

Mr McCarver who after leaving the Memphis' Christian Brothers High School, was signed by the St. Louis Cardinals in 1959, exactly how does that qualify to make him a scientist??

Everytime scientists are not correct .There theories are based on analysis ,judgement thinking and extraction of results from the existing things. They reach on particular results through there experiments and procedures .But such things do not require results to be drawn from scientists .It is not a mathematical or a physics law.

It is pretty similar to the Dow as well or the number of Irish women. That has been my suspicion for quite some time, that most of the global warming can be laid squarely at the feet of Irish women.

Alarmists do like to pretend that CO2 and temps correlate but they don't correlate very well and when they do it appears that temps are the drivers of change not CO2.

Amazing U C L A just got one billion dollar grant to study Global warming and this is what we get... NICE GOING.

Oh that is just crazy. The real link is to the price of rice in China. It has been going up as well. The missing heat has been hiding in chinese rice. Darn those chinese for cooking their rice too long.

Dook, I thought it was $3 a gallon. Change it, because of me showing that $3 per gallon would be about $1500 per car per year? What you think the average US family might not like seeing 10% of their after-tax income taken in yet another regressive tax???

I read those new home run aces were hiding at the bottom of the ocean- right next to the missing heat.

Nonsense. A FOX baseball commentator, Tom McCarver made that claim.

This is very very alarming, and proves, beyond a shadow of any skepticism, that you need to be very scared indeed about the global warming scientist conspirators hiding under your bed. Only your questions, Wattsup, Sarah Palin, and Heartland Institute can save us from imminent doom. A 10¢ a gallon increase in gas taxes will bring Hitler and Stalin back to life and they will join Al Gore and Barack Obama to zap us all into eternal slavery using 4th dimension holography from the Illuminatis' jackbooted black helicopters.

Of course smaller and smaller ballparks and better/stronger hitters have NOTHING to do with home run counts...........Riiiiiight!

Global warming scientists agree with the statement made by a sports commentator that global warming does cause more homeruns to be hit in baseball. Here is a graph that shows conclusively that increasing temperatures cause more home runs. There's been a fewer homers hit in the last 18 years, but that doesn't disprove the theory because the homers are hidden in the minor leagues. As soon as those players get promoted to the majors, the homers will increase again.

And I have some land for you in the Maldives.

Yep, this sounds legit.
