Can so-called "global warming" cause both more snow and less snow at the same time?

Apparently. Day is hot? Global warming. Day is cold? Global warming. Day is fine? Global warming. Everything is caused by global warming, apparently.

And if we were to reverse 'global warming', these folks would have a fit over global cooling. These folks just need something to run around screaming about.

Climate change has little connections with precipitation, your fallacy is assuming more snowfall = no climate change. Another fallacy typically cited by brainiac deniers is that record breaking cold temperatures = no climate change. We have have record breaking hot temperatures and record breaking cold temperatures. On a trend, the last 14 years have remained stable in terms of average temperature, the problem we see is increased heat in the summer, and increased cold in the winter. Climate and the sustainability of ecosystems are very very complex systems. A LOT must be taken into account for everything, and the scientific evidence is... well overwhelming. The 1984 conspiracy about climate is a load of rubbish, and the "experts" that deny climate change are much higher paid than the ones who support the consensus. If you are a expert in climatology and meteorology, you simply won't make as much money pushing the consensus as pushing denial. Oil companies and front groups for polluters pay TONS of money to try and misinform the public, create doubt, and dismiss climate change theory as not fact. The world revolves because of money, and big money polluting companies pay A LOT to influence the public through lobbying, politics, "experts", media outlets, etc. etc. Get your facts straight before running your mouth on an internet answer site.

Yes it is possible to cause more snow one place and less snow another place. You are not seeing the entire dog, you are just a flea on the dog. When the ice caps are gone we will get a real rude awkening.

same time, not same place..

Currently 50% of the US is covered in snow, many places are receiving over 5 feet of snow. Global warming is being blamed for this increased snow fall. Just a few years ago, senior research scientists at the climatic research unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia, stated that because of so-called "global warming", within a few years winter snowfall will become “a very rare and exciting event”, “Children just aren’t going to know what snow is".

If it possible for global warming to cause both more and less snow to fall at the same time? Do you believe this is possible?
