Other than rising sea levels what are the main issues caused by climate change?

And also in the long run wouldn't a warm fertile land mass be far more more beneficial than a barren frozen wasteland where nothing can live?

You should read the news. The Earth is COOLING, not warming. And there never was any man-made Global Warming.

Top climate scientists say there is no man-made Global Warming.

The Great Global Warming Swindle

It actually seems as tho temperatures have decreased or remained the same in many parts not increased. Global warming is still a debatable and very controversial topic. And as c said it will not be fertile land everywhere if climate does drastically raise the land will become dry and drought could cause lots of problems

An oil Opec prince for the last 3 years has been paying Dubai World $10 Billion each year to pour in hundreds of thousands of tons of dry land sand into saltwater and all oceans are connected, so all oceans rise over all dry land masses on earth, luckily my contacts of certain leaders have been able to get them to extract that sand, but this year He's paying other countries to flood out all land masses, since he himself lives in a sand Nation= Arabia. In otherwards He does'nt care about anyone but himself. Mike / Global Command

The climate is changing. The earth is warming up, and there is now overwhelming scientific consensus that it is happening, and human-induced. With global warming on the increase and species and their habitats on the decrease, chances for ecosystems to adapt naturally are diminishing.

Many are agreed that climate change may be one of the greatest threats facing the planet. Recent years show increasing temperatures in various regions, and/or increasing extremities in weather patterns.

Sea level rise isn't a problem. According to the resident Global Warming specialists on this site we are in the midst of a global warming period. They won't tell us how long that period has been, but they all agree that we have been in a Global Warming period caused by man for at least fifty years. During all this time the sea level hasn't risen. It is at the same level as when the Pilgrims landed. It is at the same level that it was back in the 1400s as many artists have depicted the level of the Thames of that period. So in real life the sea level hasn't risen squat and all these predictions of dire calamity have been totally debunked.

Quote by Noel Brown, UN official: "Entire nations could be wiped off the face of the Earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000. Coastal flooding and crop failures would create an exodus of "eco-refugees," threatening political chaos."

That is a real prediction made by one of these calamity howlers. Can anyone believe them anymore?

History shows that the Earth has been hotter and our shore lines are essentially the same as they were during that time.

Not all places will have warm fertile land some will turn to desert or be threatened by sea level rise, if not being submerged, the increase in salinity of ground water which is needed for drinking and agriculture. As owing seasons lengthen, so will the lives of destructive insects. This will require more pesticides and of course more water.

Some will receive regular torrential rains, washing away crops. Do a search

clime change impacts ..... to see more

Thee will also be blizzards like we are seeing now in the Middle East but in other areas where there haven't been storms in many years. Lakes may freeze that have never been frozen before while the poles and glaciers will continue to melt

Places where torrential rains and floods occur will see small areas of water where mosquitoes will breed, some carrying malaria and dengue fever. Flooding in areas where sewers exist will see many more diseases will spread killing the very young and very old

Well it is hard to see how it would not be beneficial, we already know we have an improvement in crop production, we know that longer growing seasons is good, we know that deserts are receding http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/201... We know life thrives in warm conditions, we have over 30,000 different species of fish in tropical waters, how many in the North Atlantic?

Only we have a problem as it look s like it's getting colder not warmer.

Corruption, political opportunism, anti-democratic global governing elitism, riding roughshod over human rights on the pretext of false premises and the rest .

Reptiles thrive more in warmer conditions. Millions of years ago when it was just a few degrees warmer, there was a reptile called "titanoboa" which was essentially a snake that could take down a t-rex. Reptiles adapt to warmth VERY quickly, so there's another issue, we will have a **** ton of snakes and lizards running around.

besides rise in sea level climate change has caused adverse effect on agriculture. due to the unfavorable change in the climate there is the huge destruction in the agriculture especially ion the the developing and underdeveloped countries.

And also in the long run wouldn't a warm fertile land mass be far more more beneficial than a barren frozen wasteland where nothing can live?

no no no you have it all wrong, the warmunists would love an iceage where nothing grows, there by killing millions so they can all feel so good about themselves for saving mother earth. and what rising sea levels, oh that's right there isn't any

There is the possibility of an ice age, for which we are overdue.
