The climate is changing. The earth is warming up, and there is now overwhelming scientific consensus that it is happening, and human-induced. With global warming on the increase and species and their habitats on the decrease, chances for ecosystems to adapt naturally are diminishing.

Sea level rise isn't a problem. According to the resident Global Warming specialists on this site we are in the midst of a global warming period. They won't tell us how long that period has been, but they all agree that we have been in a Global Warming period caused by man for at least fifty years. During all this time the sea level hasn't risen. It is at the same level as when the Pilgrims landed. It is at the same level that it was back in the 1400s as many artists have depicted the level of the Thames of that period. So in real life the sea level hasn't risen squat and all these predictions of dire calamity have been totally debunked.

Not all places will have warm fertile land some will turn to desert or be threatened by sea level rise, if not being submerged, the increase in salinity of ground water which is needed for drinking and agriculture. As owing seasons lengthen, so will the lives of destructive insects. This will require more pesticides and of course more water.

Reptiles thrive more in warmer conditions. Millions of years ago when it was just a few degrees warmer, there was a reptile called "titanoboa" which was essentially a snake that could take down a t-rex. Reptiles adapt to warmth VERY quickly, so there's another issue, we will have a **** ton of snakes and lizards running around.
