Climate affects the entire world you see around you. It turns the granite into clay and sand, and weathers down the mountains. Rivers and glaciers carve the valleys that you see. Climate determines whether you live in a forest or a desert. Climate is responsible for the ice sheets in Antarctica and Greenland.
