Environmental Impacts of the anthropogenic climate change?

Posted at: 2015-03-12
There has been very little change in climate, as temperatures have not risen for the last 15yrs, however more CO2 has had quite a big effect on our plant biomass, according to a recent Australian study plant biomass is up 14% due to more fertilizer (CO2) and less transpiration, and resistance to drought that CO2 causes, this will also cause an increase in food crop production.

The actual impact on global temperatures from anthropogenic climate change is small. Most of the warming seen to date is probably natural, and overall less than one degree Celsius.

Now, if any change in climate is acceptable, you can probably point out arctic ice being lower due to more black carbon in the atmosphere. Also, land use changes lead to higher nighttime temperatures. See Urban Heat Island for more.

Glaciers are retreating and exposing trees from 2000 years ago so I'd say that "Global Warming/Climate Change" has almost nothing to do with anthropogenic influences. 0.01% change in our atmosphere (CO2 level change has only caused a 0.01% change in our atmosphere, yet it has increased 40% since the mid-1800s) will not cause the natural climate system to change very much.

Climate change experts say that the total energy budget has changed by 1% and that will cause an increase of 2.8C in our global temperatures. So far they can not find that extra warming in their measurements. Current global average temperatures are consistent with natural temperature trends that have been occurring for the past 1400 years.

False alarm. The planet is cooling. Ice caps are growing. There is no anthropogenic climate change that anyone has detected. There is nothing in recent climate studies that indicates the climate is changing at all.

None... because it's not happening.

Top climate scientists say there is no man-made Global Warming.

The Great Global Warming Swindle

The environmental impacts of AGW [ACC] are the same as they would be if grasshoppers were responsible. ie the cause is irrelevant when discussing the impacts.

Impacts of rapid CC as we are experiencing.

1]in high latitudes spring is coming earlier. All of what that entails.

2] because of the warmer temps species are moving to exploit the new habitats that are becoming available to them. Various warm climate pests and others are moving north as the climate warms. Some of these invasive species are causing problems because they do not necessarily have predators in the new environments and so can run wild.

3] rainfall patterns are changing which means habitats are suffering either drought or flooding or even both as in some areas the dry seasons and becoming dryer and the wet wetter.

4] ocean temps are changing so less sea ice is forming in the Arctic making problems for animals that rely on seasonal sea ice. and sea ice is increasing in the antarctic causing problems for penguins which now have further to travel between nesting grounds and open water.

5] Ocean temp change and additional CO2 in the water is affecting the corals and larval stages of many species. Particularly worrisome are the thinner shells of some micro plankton because the whole ocean food chain depends on the micro plankton. Kill it off and fish die.

Since this is an English assignment, you needn't worry about being factual. You can use material straight from the IPCC report.

No one has seen any observable or provable climate change in my lifetime of 72 years. Climates have changed in the past, even before man was on the earth. So during the last century, for example, there have been no substantiated climate changes whatever, especially by man.

challenging situation. try searching in yahoo and bing. it may help!

Please help meeeee!!!! I'm desperate!

I have to write 1 page report about the Environmental Impacts due to the anthropogenic (man generated) climate change! please help me pleaseeee

It's been a week that i try to write something!!!!

I'll be extremely thankfulllllll and give as many points as I can who properly answers! please help me pleaseeeeee
