How to separate C and O2 from CO2?

To convert CO2 into O2 plus pure carbon you are doing the opposite of oxidation known as reduction. Reduced carbon is full of potential energy that we harness with oxidatIon. So, to reverse the operation, you need to expend energy (more than you get back from combustion). Photosynthesis essentially is harnessing solar energy to reduce CO2.

Keep planting trees if it really concerns you. Kano understands.

CO2 has limits of warming the planet due to its limited ability to receive IR (infrared radiation) at specific wavelengths (which is where CO2 warming comes from). Read here : http://tallbloke.files.wordpress.com/201... In 1997-1998 the whole planet's average temperature rose by one whole degree Celsius. Climate scientists found that this was caused naturally and not man-caused. Since 1880 the average temperature of the planet has risen by 0.75 C. Much of that warming happened before the 1940s when CO2 emissions were still relatively low. From about 1940 to 1975 CO2 emissions tripled and yet global average temperatures fell.

There's no reason to separate the C and the O2 from CO2. Biomass of plants and trees increases with the increase of CO2 which means that it creates more food product.

as people said, plant trees it will convert co2 into o2.. By the process of photosynthesis. Or"Measure" in your topic is the

things taken to prevent Global

warming. Search in that line and

you will get the idea.

1. React the carbon dioxide with sodium.

2. Break down the sodium oxide using electrolysis.

That would be too easy. Then you couldn't tax CO2 or grab power if there was a SCIENTIFIC solution.

It really is easy, scientifically that is.

With plants, trees and phytoplankton. it's called photosynthesis.

just like u have done in your question..lol
