Manipulating ANOMALIES to give a SNAPSHOT of Earth's temperature is easy nowadays. It's something that was impossible a very few years ago. They do this because they simply can't represent Earth's "ACTUAL" temperature in any other way. Comparing past temperatures with today's temperatures takes some "RAW guessing" by the simpletons of scientific alarmism.

They fight against the idea that the 30s were warmer.

They fight against the idea that the Medieval Warm Period was warmer.

They fight against the idea that temperatures have been much warmer when CO2 levels were much lower.

They fight against the idea that additional CO2 is good for the Planet.

They fight against the idea that temperatures still fluctuate as they always have in a single day.

They'll continue to fight for 1 cause of "GLOBAL WARMING" as the catalyst (CO2), while blatantly disregarding any and all other factors involved.

They can't "factually" prove any Global average temperature record simply because they don't have the ability to measure temperature in the past as they do nowadays. They scientifically manipulate data to match the past with the present. They make it up as they go. There's no other way they can make the claim of GLOBAL WARMING.

There was no Little Ice age either. At least that's what cherry picked tree ring data tells us. To be fair, record highs and lows have been recorded for as long as records have been kept. What bothers me is that many old high temperature records still stand. If the earth really is getting warmer, all the record highs should be erased.

Many of Australia's hottest temperatures were recorded back in the late 1800's, which is embarrasing for the Australian met office (BOM) they solved this by announcing all records will start from 1910

And then we have the reason why the deniers of Global warming are not of average intelligence [1] After all these years, they are still unable to differentiate between global [2] and local [3]

Tree-ring growth has been found to match well with temperature. Hence, tree-rings are used to plot temperature going back hundreds of years. However, tree-rings in some high-latitude locations diverge from modern instrumental temperature records after 1960. This is known as the "divergence problem". Consequently, tree-ring data in these high-latitude locations are not considered reliable after 1960 and should not be used to represent temperature in recent decades. [5]
