Who should be in the 2013 Environmental Hall of Fame/Shame?

Jim Inhofe. Professors from the University of Oklahoma (has very good meteorology school) are embarrassed by his blatant lying and won't attend events he invites them to anymore. He is a real estate developer who relied on gas and oil money to finance his runs for office. Now, he has kids riding his oil and gas coat tails.

Hall of Fame

Kevin Cowtan and Robert G. Way for their analysis of the HadCRUT4 dataset

Hall of Shame

Anti-Keystone XL pipeline activists, for blaming Canada for AGW rather than the real engine for new pipeline expansion and oil sands expansion; the consumer.

I'll vote for James Delingpole for the hall of shame award.

All denialists for the crimes of lying and stupidity

I would nominate Hansen and Mann to have their own room in the hall of shame.

Nominate Your Candidates for the 2013 Environmental Hall of Fame/Shame Awards

It is important that we keep in mind those who are heroes and villains in our efforts to protect the environment. Each year, jcmooreonline.com takes a poll to find those most deserving to be in the Environmental Hall of Fame and the Environmental Hall of Shame. Nominations are now open for awards for those who have most affected the environment by words or action. Please post your nominations for each category in the comment section . If you would, please include a short reason that your nominee should be chosen and suggest a suitable gift if they win.

Nominations will be taken until March 1st, 2014. The nominees will then be listed and you will have a chance to vote to determine the winner in each category. You may suggest a suitable prize for your nominee. Please be imaginative, as particularly thoughtful or humorous nominations will be recognized and published on this site
