Global storming or warming ?

Yes, at least they should explain why they were wrong. They scared people, which is a form of mental cruelty, and enacted tyrannical laws due to their bogus claims. For instance, in Australia they withheld the release of water from a dam, due to the prognostication of an imminent drought. It resulted in the dam bursting, creating much damage and loss of lives. It is gut wrenchingly sad that these sleaze bags to this for their own gain, and get away with it unscathed.

The forecasts weren’t solely for droughts they were for wider disruption to the weather. I’m sure that every person with any comprehension of the climatic systems will know that the warmer it gets the more the hydrological cycle accelerates and the more precipitation there is. That’s why it’s so wet in the Tropics and so dry in the Polar regions.

Droughts are just one consequence of disrupted weather patterns, floods are another. Globally there has been a significant increase in the number of both types of events with flood events having increased five-fold since 1950.

Are you able to provide a link to any paper that says droughts will increase whilst floods will decrease?

Scientists (who know how to spell "silent") did not predict droughts as the main result of global warming.

U.S. National Academy of Sciences, 2010:

“Climate change is occurring, is caused largely by human activities, and poses significant risks for a broad range of human and natural systems.”

http://www8.nationalacademies.org/onpine...

“Choices made now about carbon dioxide emissions reductions will affect climate change impacts experienced not just over the next few decades but also in coming centuries and millennia…Because CO2 in the atmosphere is long lived, it can effectively lock the Earth and future generations into a range of impacts, some of which could become very severe.”

“The Academy membership is composed of approximately 2,100 members and 380 foreign associates, of whom nearly 200 have won Nobel Prizes. Members and foreign associates of the Academy are elected in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research; election to the Academy is considered one of the highest honors that can be accorded a scientist or engineer.”

Well you can see for yourself where the drought is for 2013
