Daly was just another illiterate skeptic who did not understand basic physics and had a tendency to see global conspiracies in everything he did not like. He was the Fred Phelps of the scientific community who, instead of using banners as the Phelps used to do, send them angry letters/emails.

Warmons, to them he was simply expressing cheer at hearing from the person emailing him but sad about the news of death. They wonder why most don't accept thier skewed view of reality.
