Do you think government policy is a reason for the global warming pause?

No.

If GW is a direct consequence of increasing CO2, then warming should be still occurring because CO2 is still increasing.

If the good baroness could show that CO2 was falling then she might be worth listening to.

the conservatives and big oil want people to think there's a pause as if to suggest the majority of scientists are wrong

More Evidence There Is No 'Pause' in Global Warming

The politicians saw the pause coming, and wanted to pass some things so they could take credit. Unfortunately CO2 levels kept increasing in China.

Now it is possible. There is at least one paper that looked at climate data and concluded that warming comes not from CO2 but AN INCREASE IN CO2. So just keeping CO2 level would stop global warming under this theory based on observational evidence. So if politicians merely managed to stop CO2 increases, they could still take credit.

However, CO2 has still been increasing.

This just shows that these slimy politicians will take credit for anything they deem as good. But what did they really do? Their main goal was to reduce CO2. That hasn't happened. CO2 level has continuously gone up. So they really can't take the credit for the pause.

Right - Just like when nothing happened during the y2k crisis, politicians were patting themselves on the back for doing such a great job.

Yes, I know from alarmists that the pause is definitely not occurring and is definitely occurring because of natural factors.

But could the non existence pause be existing because of government policy?
