Is there anyone still out there?

Global warming being real, significant, mostly human-caused has been the solid scientific consensus for a quarter century, based on massive research going back more than a century (see below). The rest of your question is not well-informed.

Weather is not climate.

Steroids will boost a baseball player's seasonal batting average. You cannot attribute one particular hitting streak to steroids, however.

Do the math: "Unnecessary travel, holidays abroad and working in an office when you could work at home," are more than a drop in the bucket of carbon emissions; but a dozen drops, maybe; perhaps if very rigorously pursued (HOW is then the question?): 5-10%

U.S. National Academy of Sciences, 2010:

http://books.nap.edu/openbook.php?record...

“Climate change is occurring, is caused largely by human activities, and poses significant risks for a broad range of human and natural systems.”

http://www8.nationalacademies.org/onpine...

“Choices made now about carbon dioxide emissions reductions will affect climate change impacts experienced not just over the next few decades but also in coming centuries and millennia…Because CO2 in the atmosphere is long lived, it can effectively lock the Earth and future generations into a range of impacts, some of which could become very severe.”

“The Academy membership is composed of approximately 2,100 members and 380 foreign associates, of whom nearly 200 have won Nobel Prizes. Members and foreign associates of the Academy are elected in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research; election to the Academy is considered one of the highest honors that can be accorded a scientist or engineer.”

Transportation sector accounts for about 20% of CO2 emissions, so you are wrong. Electricity usage is responsible for most CO2 emissions. Now unnecessary travel would be an even smaller portion.

Global warming has been happening for centuries, so I would guess that fossil fuels might not be the primary cause.

There are a lot of factors behind this issue, but the most important factor is the global worming and the human activities. So the sudden changes are being seen everywhere in this world in terms of environmental changes and other natural disturbances on the surface of the earth.

Me. I dont believe it, if CO2 is changing the weather it can only do it by one way, and that is changing the Earths temperature, and we know there has been no change in global temps for at least a decade.

When we get extremes of weather, it is natural for humans to try and blame something for it, like the gods are angry used to be one excuse in times past.

In the little ice age they even blamed witches.

So whats Your answer for all the other Ice Ages and Warm spells this planet has gone through during the last 13 billion years. Prehistoric Factories?

yes weather caused global warming

Don't get me wrong. I do believe, if believe is the right word, that global warming is happening

http://www.noaanews.noaa.gov/stories2010...

And we are causing it

But other factors do effect weather and climate, though, in many cases not in the way that denialists claim. The reason why the Sun is not responsible for recent warming is not because it has no effect, but because it has been trending the wrong direction.

http://www.woodfortrees.org/plot/gistemp...

But the Sun probably has contributed to the recent pause.

http://www.woodfortrees.org/plot/gistemp...

But don't expect the pause to last, any more than the previous four pauses.

First this is weather. Climate change could be a factor but it takes a number of years to establish that. We have has unusual weather and I suspect it could be a result of climate change, but without real proof, that is just my opinion

There are a bunch of us. There is not proof as to what you assert.

who doesn't believe this weather is caused by global warming. And that global warming is caused by the burning of fossil fuels. And unnecessary travel is one of its greatest causes. By unnecessary travel mean holidays abroad and working in an office when you could work at home;

no. this is very natural in this earth's environment.

No there won't be anyone
