If the Industrial Age is the reason for the rise in temperature, how come the major portion of the increase in temp occu

Whoops, careful, that's an inconvenient truth which warmers like to avoid.

There was a mini ace age around 1700, we are now more or less back up to the temperature range that existed around 1000 - 1200AD

Global Warming (as a man-made "thing") is purely a political buzzword with no basis in fact.

The first part of the warming was when the Sun was putting out more radiation. As you know, the latest increase was while the Sun put out less radiation. You know this, scientists do not much dispute it.

Dude, you are gonna get them mad if you point out the obvious. They are gonna call you names and give you thumbs down etc.

Robert J gave an excellent answer. Using your mind and scientific principles though is not very politically correct in today's age.

Depends on which graph you look at. Mann's famous hockey stick graph shows there was no MWP, no LIA, no Maunder minimun. It shows that the current warming is dangerous and unprecedinted- except it's no longer warming.

anyone who claims to know what the temperatures were prior to 1714 is lying

In fact, the vast majority of the CO2 emitted was in the last 50 years and it hasn't warmed much in about 20. In the graph you posted, we still aren't back to the MWP and since I can't trust those who rewrote the previous history, I think we probably still aren't and we aren't as warm as the previous one before that some 2000 plus years ago. Alarmists spew claims of unprecedented warming etc. They truly are scared of their own shadow.

Why do you use a source from 1965? Much more current information is available.

You've been told already the last two times you posted this exact same question.

You either easily forget things or you simply reject any data which does not agree with your opinion.

Please - don't call them on this. There's specific reasons why they selectively vignette their data. They pick and choose their data to best fit their conclusion.

selective graph..nice trick

Yeah... they harp on the past 120 years. While ignoring the past 12,000 years.

And then accuse us of cherry picking.

global warming

that is simply untrue
