How do i conclude my essa on global warming?

You might throw in there that the field of climate science is in its infancy and there is still much to be learned. It may end up that industrial CO2 is not....afterall....responsible for changes in climate....but for now, scientists need to be patient, thorough and ethical.

Tell them that we have really advanced in our knowledge.

Life magazine of January 3, 1970, stated: “Scientists have solid experimental and theoretical evidence to support . . . predictions” such as: “In a decade, urban dwellers will have to wear gas masks to survive air pollution,” and “increased carbon dioxide in the atmosphere will affect earth’s temperature, leading to mass flooding or a new ice age.”

Many of those same scientists your refer to were preaching to us about an impending Ice Age back in the seventies.

Then you can finish up with, the fact that the Earth has cooled in over a decade now, while the level of greenhouse gasses, mainly CO2, has gone up during that same decade. This scientifically proves that the Global Warming scare is just a scam. Follow the money.

Maybe you could add the truth about the heating capacity of CO2 and show that adding more CO2 into the atmosphere has little effect on atmospheric warming. http://beforeitsnews.com/science-and-tec...

The global mean temperature has only increased by 0.5-0.6 Celsius since 1880. That's an average of 0.046 Celsius per decade. If that's a cause for concern, then I might just be a shape-shifting alien. Science can not prove that I'm not, but they can sure prove on a preponderance of the evidence that humans are causing the temperature to rise. It doesn't matter that the planet was on a warming trend anyway.

There are limits to CO2 warming and it took a nuclear physicist to prove it mathematically and not a climate scientist. You should be careful in coming to conclusions based on false information. If you will go the extra mile in your research, then you may find some more amazing truths about the climate.

Whats an essa

You could try and explain why deniers can't offer any science to back their ever changing excuses as to why AGW is not happening stories that change on an almost daily basis.

Why when they answer questions like this in forums they offer nothing to back their claims and if they do it's pointless right wing blogs sites like beforeitsnews, pretty simple really, there are no actual science groups that support the stupid statements of deniers, not one.

NASA, NOAA, NSIDC, USGS and these are just in the US. Many other countries have different side of politics running their countries and some are right leaning and some are left leaning all these science agencies support AGW.

Not sure where you get 4 Fahrenheit as the temperature rise it is not that high, yet, it is ~0.8c (which is nothing like 4F) as an average global rise with higher regional rises in the Arctic, which in places have risen by 3-5c.

I think that empty one line retorts like Ian's that get 5 thumbs up, tell you pretty easily what deniers are about and it has little to do with science or the truth.

I have come to the conclusion that we all have a little blame global warming and its consequences and guilt even more politicians who do not slow down.

You could conclude by telling the truth, as follows.

CO2 has no measurable effect on the climate!. If anyone watched the recent series presented by Professor Brian Cox on the Solar system, and you knew anything about astronomy, you would see that the weather on Earth is affected by gravity, in exactly the same way as Io, a moon of Jupiter, is affected. Io is a solid lump of rock the same size as our moon, that due to gravitational forces, liquefies and causes volcanoes. The same applies to one of the moons of Saturn, the name of which I missed. EXACTLY the same forces that are causing the increased volcanic and earthquake activity here on Earth in the past 20 or so years due to the line up of the major planets and the Sun.

Looks like a reasonable summary. Needs some editing for punctuation, grammar and sentence structure, and any sources used (in addition to National Geographic) should be acknowledged. To wrap it up, you could

a) also summarize the last 60+ years of scientific research that has led to the discoveries and understanding of human-caused climate change.

http://www.aps.org/publications/apsnews/...

http://www.aip.org/history/climate/timel...

http://www.aip.org/history/climate/index...

And/or

b) quote the conclusions of top scientists such as

U.S. National Academy of Sciences, 2010:

http://books.nap.edu/openbook.php?record...

“Climate change is occurring, is caused largely by human activities, and poses significant risks for a broad range of human and natural systems.”

http://www8.nationalacademies.org/onpine...

“Choices made now about carbon dioxide emissions reductions will affect climate change impacts experienced not just over the next few decades but also in coming centuries and millennia…Because CO2 in the atmosphere is long lived, it can effectively lock the Earth and future generations into a range of impacts, some of which could become very severe.”

http://www.physics.fsu.edu/awards/NAS/

“The Academy membership is composed of approximately 2,100 members and 380 foreign associates, of whom nearly 200 have won Nobel Prizes. Members and foreign associates of the Academy are elected in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research; election to the Academy is considered one of the highest honors that can be accorded a scientist or engineer.”

The Temperature rose 0.8 of degree the past century . and its not true the world is not going to end that way.

Unless we switch to new energy sources, we can expect continued warming.

Maybe add in that man made global warming has been highly exaggerated. Most alarmist predictions have failed to come true...etc.

Is global warming real ?

Global Warming has been the subject of a great deal to political controversy. Global warming in fact caused a lot of attention from scientist and experts, leaving people to think whether its a fact or a myth, but the question that some individuals keep asking is that ,Is global warming real? And What is global warming? .According to national geographic global warming is the rise in the average temperature of earth's atmosphere attributed to the greenhouse effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, and other pollutants. Increasing volumes of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases released by the burning of fossil fuels, land clearing agriculture and other human activities are considered to be the primary sources of the global warming which has occurred over the past 50 years.

The big question is, Is global warming real? Yes global warming is very real,Carbon dioxide and other air pollution that is collecting in the atmosphere like a thickening blanket, trapping the sun's heat and causing the planet to warm up and burning power plants is obviously the cause of global warming. Earth’s surface temperature has increased by a global average of approximately four degrees Fahrenheit with about two-thirds of the increase occurring in the last century and areas such as the Arctic have seen temperatures rise by twice the global average. According to Scientists they believe that continuing warming of the Earth’s surface and Oceans will result in more extreme weathers becoming more frequent, the severity will depend on the amount of greenhouse gases released into the Earth’s atmosphere.

The Earth’s atmosphere has a natural supply of greenhouse gases. They capture heat forming a blanket around the Earth keeping the surface of the Earth warm enough for us to live on. Without the greenhouse effect, the Earth’s surface could be 60 Fahrenheit colder than it is today. Scientists think that the increases in manufactured greenhouse gases are in effect causing global warming, because since the Industrial Revolution in the 1700’s, we have been emitting more manufactured greenhouse gases, water vapor, methane produced from agriculture and landfill, nitrous oxide from vehicles and carbon dioxide released by the burning of fossil fuels in factories and energy plants, these are all adding to the natural supply of greenhouse gases.

no warming around here this winter - over to you

Maybe a disclaimer that it's opinion and not backed up by any real world evidence.
