Hemp is a very useful product. There is the dope sort, and the other sort. Hemp is forbidden to be grown as the oil companies want to sell nylon and other related fibers that are a product of oil.
Hemp makes great fiber from rope to fine linen.
Hemp is legal in the US but marijuana isn't. Hemp however isn't something you can really get high on, It can howvever be used to make paper and other products to save trees and it grows very fast

actually ? man hemp was outlawed because of the cotton and wool lobby
although it is too late to stop the runaway , irreversible , permanent , greenhouse effect , it would be nice to slow it down a bit , hemp production would definitely help .
James Hansen has been smoking it for years. It hasn't done him any harm.
