You'd have to check your area if you're allowed to distribute them but there probably won't be a problem. If you can use recycled paper or card that would be great because it really promotes the whole eco thing you're going for. When you're writing things down, break up the sentences so it's more eye catching and it's easier for the reader to remember and to look at. Make it colourful. You could stick with greens to make it look more eco friendly, but it's whatever colours you have that look nice together. Use diagrams to illustrate your point. For example, you can draw a mini world and describe how Global warming happens and then you can do a mini house showing all of the ways you can reduce the impacts of global warming ( such as turning lights and taps off when they're not being used). You have to give some kind of reason as to why this is important or people will just discard what you've got to say. Give warning about how fossil fuels will run out and how as we're still using them they're damaging our planet more and more. Try not to make them feel guilty but just let them know that this sort of thing is very important. You could, if you had space, mention a well-known tragic news story that has been brought on by global warming to make a point. Good on you trying to raise awareness of Global warming :)
I think it's a great idea to cut down trees to make posters and leaflets letting everyone know how to cut down THEIR carbon footprint. Great idea.
The crazy thing is that I'm a "denier" and my carbon footprint is microscopic compared to a lot of alarmists.
Global warming is a scam. So you will be spreading propaganda. I doubt that would be legal for a post woman to do.
You could attempt to get people together to do something green. Some sort of low cost start up biz. Get people to work on it even though it might not pay a lot.

No. We need more people out there to promote global warming. We need more of it. Global warming benefits all life on the planet.
